can anyone tell me an easy way to widen the wheel base of my 74 model fj40 i also want to put disk breaks on it was thinking 60 series diffs but i dont know how much is involved or if it will work

Wheel base = Distance between wheels front to back
Wheel Track = Distance between wheels left to right

Flipped rim's, wheel spacers, 60's diff's will all widen it.

Wheelbase is a spring flip job, widening is 60 or 80 diffs.. :crazyeyes:
hands and mums dont count!!!

alot more then you think involved and yes it "can" work.

widen and lengthen it!
go 80 diffs. use some coils while you are there.
