advice on my 91 v6 wagon suspention

what is the best way to do my 2 to 3 inch lift on a buget as im in trouble for spending to much on it already tyres etc and if anyone has had any problems with doing a 2 inch body lift on one. i have only had patrols

Presuming it's a coil rear, find some stock GQ rear springs and wind your front torsion bars. Trim 10mm off the upper (droop) stops to help restore a little travel. Do NOT trim the large bottom (bump) stop - that's the one which needs to cushion the weight of the vehicle on crash landings.

You'll need a decent front wheel alignment, which will probably require shimming the upper control arms to restore camber. This should be the most expensive part of the lift.

Cheers mate i just happen to have the GQ springs. i just havnt had much to do with torsion bar front ends as this is the family wagon i am limited to what i can do to it. my patrol thats another storie
