89 GQ Patrol

I am looking at selling my 89 GQ 4.2 Diesel Patrol here in Adelaide. The car has only been in the city for about 8 months and before that was in FNQ. How much would I be looking at selling it for on the Private market or a delaer? It has done 237,000 Km

i bought a 89 with 340k 4.2 diesel brand new suspension had some rust in roof gutters i paid 2800 upload some photos for a more acurate price but i would guess 3-5k depending on condition and any mods
If i just overtook you head to your nearest mechanic

I do not know how to upload photos, but I will email them if someone can put them up for me. Dealer offered me 7k for it. So naturally I should get more on the private market for it?

As said, why are you looking to sell it if you 'will have nothing'...?

Only you will know if a sierra will suit your needs... unless you expand what your requirements are.

Well I have found a Sierra which I am having a look at on friday. So I not gonna go selling the only transport I have to work incase this sierra is no good, anyone about 6'2" had one of these and did they fit in the drivers seat?

You're outside the Nissan forum for this q... but Love_Mud is a tall bugger and I think he used to fit into his Sierra okay, check in the Zuk forum of shit-shat.

237,000 on an 89 diesel GQ is pretty low. Are you sure you want a Sierra? They are good but not necessarily great as your only form of transport.

The clutch packed it in today. Not the bext experience for the middle of a shopping centre intersection. Turns out I have sprung a leak where some rubber connector connects underneath or something, I not very mechanically minded lol. I would most likely have trouble changing a tyre. Any ideas how much that will cost to repair and what the guy who had a look might be talking about?

If it's the flexy hose section in the clutch line, I just got one from the local
nissan dealer for $31.00 odd? it was a pain to get it connected. :oops: :x
just have to bleed the system now :x

Turns out it was the clutch slave cylinder. $140 bucks later and I am back on the road
