Warn High Mount Question

Post by noodle »

Looking at buying a second hand warn high mount soon.
Is the only model the 8274 ? or were there other models made along the
way ? Just want to make sure the model I buy can be upgraded with motors etc.

Cheers

Some of the early ones had akey shaft for the motor run than a spline. It is a very simple and cheap upgrade so don't worry about that.

all high mounds in theory, are the same basic design, nothing much (except for the aforementioned) motor shaft, and the top hat free spool activation, solenoid arrangement and uhh colour scheme are all the changes you should encounter from a 1970s version vs a 2009 version
