CHEAP AGM Batts

Post by me3@neuralfibre.com »

I got sent this by a mate - VERY cheap deals.
Seeing we are all so passionate about everything 12v, I need to let you know about some deals at Alco Battery Sales.

Fullriver Deep Cycle 135amp/hr AGM $100 + GST
Fullriver Deep Cycle 100amp/hr AGM $130 + GST

The 135's are old stock and need to move them
The 100's are wrongly labelled/printed as Gel but are AGM

This was at Keilor in Melbourne so not sure about other branches.
I just got a couple from Brisbane.

Is it all stockists with these prices. The only link for WA is a Melbourne based distributor.

I'm keen if freight is under $50.

I just picked mine up from the Perth supplier and f me I think I gave myself a hernia lifting the bastard. Did not think it'd be that heavy. I paid a bit extra due to "freight" but still cheaper than any where else I could buy it from.

I've seen them online for $300. That's the cheapest I could find though I'm sure if you looked you could get them for as low as $250. I think $150 is a bargain.

The only issue is its a limited warranty though so you are trusting the name rather than depending on warranty.

I was told the story was that these were fitted to camper vans and such from factory then people realised they were agm's not gels as stated on the packaging so most people are bringing them back to exchange them for the gels.
