Extended shackles

Apart from making up some extended shackles are they any shackles from other makes models of 4x4s that can be used to replace the standard shackles that are already on the car, do older model holden use a 50 mm shackle and are they any longer?

I'd just make them dude, it costs next to nothing and you are using new components not some ragged old stuff of GM rubbish

Just a thought ...if hilux bushes fit maybe some hilux rear shackles may fit also ?

don't know till you try..er..have a look ;)

Hilux springs are wider though so if the thread on the shackle has a step then you wont be able to tighten it enough.
