Anyone know where to get a good balance done on some heavy 35's in Sydney?
I just had a new set balanced again, taken off the balancer and put straight back on and got different weights by up to 140g. Spent nearly 3 hours there trying to work it out, balanced on cones and on fingers with the same results each time. He reckons the machine was calibrated only a month ago, was on the phone to them, all sorts, but still getting a different weight each time the wheel is put on the balancer.

So, anyone know where there is a good place to go ?

I used a truck mob out at Riverstone to do my 42" Unimog tyres, can't remember their name but they were on Riverstone Pde.

Tyrepower in Richmond balanced my 35" 'Pedes (same as in your avatar). Richmond is a hike from 'the shire' though...

Gday Damian,

ACE tyres in smithfield are the go. They will also do internal patch weights. 96043777

Jax at St Marys sell internal balancers, Place a bag inside the tyre and away you go. These are the only things I have found that work on my 35"s as they self adjust for chunks of missing rubber or flat spots. Mind you it does take 5km or so to get them sorted when starting out of a morning
