Whats your budget? There was a recent battery thread in General Tech started by gueey, do a search and have a read.

The general consensus from battery world, a wet cell battery that you can monitor the electrolyte level are a god idea in hot climates as electrolyte will natural evaporate off when charging etc, but on the other hand AGM's are about the ducks business too with fast recharge capabilities.

Find something with a decent warranty, in your price range, with good CCA and you'll be laughing. FWIW Supercharge Silver n70 is up around 700cca and has 2 year warranty ;)
Cheers,
Dan.
