1991 NH Pajero, will these tyres fit?

My dad has a 1991 NH Pajero and ive got a set of 265/70/16 tyres off my GU patrol that I was going to get some 16" rims and chuck the tyres on the Pajero

Will these fit under the guards etc? will it affect performance etc to much?

That size tyre are basically the same overall size as 31x10.5R15 - on Patrol rims, they'll be fine on a GLS in terms of clearance, scrubbing etc. If it's not a GLS (and doesn't have the flared guards) they'll probably protrude, but I wouldn't expect any other problems.

Do patrol rims fit on Pajeros? Mitsubishi sunnies are dear compared to patrol ones!

I've been running Patrol rims on mine for 5 or 6 years - so I'd say your chances are pretty good. :D
