i just convert mine 2 rear wheel drive very easy to do have to remove back of transfer case you need a press to remove 1 bearing and fit locking hubs i paid 550 for the kit

replace your worn CVs and drive flanges, will cost about the same as partime kit and you still have the benefits of full time 4x4.
If you have ABS brakes, the parttime kit will stop them from working properly

I converted mine recently to part time 4x4 had a shop do the transfer part ( I DONT HAVE THE GEAR AT HOME TO DO IT) they did a top job I used the same kit as Marks 4x4 but got it from 4wd systems, do yourself a favour if you do a lot of 4wding buy genuine 80 series free wheel hubs as both the AVM and ORA hubs they supply arnt worth a knob of goat poo!! have replaced a set of each under warranty so doesnt hurt the hip pocket but a lot of extra work removing and refitting.... just my two cents its worth it just for the lack of backlash let alone the extra power and fuel economy i get on trips and around town has paid for itself in the first 12 months.
