3Y EFI

Post by basketcase »

Has anyone done or looked into a EFI conversion for a 3Y.

I have searched and found a bit of info, but its mainly on 22R conversions.

I was thinking getting most of the gear off a EFI 4Y. As far as I know the 4Y and 3Y are the same except for the block. Correct?? If this is right the EFI inlet manifold should bolt straight on right??

RUFF you said you would use some Camira parts and a Commodore commputer for a 22R conversion. Would this also work for a 3Y conversion?

The EFI 4Y has different cam than the carby 4Y so you might want to look at better cam with the injection
