1hz diesel leaking through gasket at inlet manifold
I have been doing the service on my 100 series wagon and seen that the gasket between the inlet manifold and the head is leaking a fair amount of diesel and am wondering how big a problem is this and is it an easy fix. Such as removing the manifold and replacing the gasket. If it makes any difference it has after market turbo.
that wont be diesel mate, its oil from the PCV valve getting past the gaskets as there are some low spots there inside the manifold where the oil sits.
Its not a problem just clean her up.
If you are anal about gettin the oil gone and for it not to come back, just change the intake manifold gaskets.
Good luck
