I am in the process of installing a powertrax loctite locker in front. I have the diff apart, and it is only a 2 pinion diff. Whats the go? My locker kit seams to suits 4 and doesn't have the little cross that the cross shafts slips threw as there is only one cross shaft. The spacers supplied in the kit don't touch anything. the kit I have came with no couplers and I was told by the supplier it suited the front. It appears to be for a 4 pinion diff. I tried the search button and got a step by step install but that was for a rear and was a 4 pinion diff

Mine is a 1510. I found this in a search. Just wondering if any one else has tried
sheps wrote:yep 1510 can go in a 2 pinion center and is in the fitting instructions that i got.
the 1520 or 1530 (cant remember off the top off my head) has the 26 spline
coupling.
my front lockright works perfectly while the rear one is a bit off a pig.
just remembered something, apparently around 94 or so a different side gear
went into the 2 pin carrier and it needs a bit machined off it to work with the
1510 lockright. mine is a 89 sierra. there are a few threads on pirate about it.

If you got the locker from Locktup just give Chris a call and he will sort it out, as he helped with the install on mine.

Yeah I did get it from Locktup. I rang Chris today. He said to use the old cross shaft and remove spacers supplied with locker kit. Havn't had a chance to try it yet

Ditto
I have broken one in 2 years of abusing mine. and that was a ledge with revs hitting the hub into the bank.

Nah its been in for a week. Used original 2 pinion centre. What VR rodoe had left over is the same as i had left over. It works a treat. If any one has a problem with this , give Chris from locktup a call.

like i said many posts ago it is an internet myth that lockrights
need to go into a 4 pin carrier.
