search is your friend  :D theres lots of info on lifting your Fez here,

but basically yes you can wind up the front bars to gain a bit of lift (at the expense of travel though) trimming the bump stops will gain a little back, standard length shocks will be all right for a 2" lift (and thats about as high as id like to take a Fez) but aftermarket ones are usually way better anyway .. from memory i had VN commodore rear Wagon shocks in the rear of mine and the where slighty longer than stock but almost half as thick.

Rear lift can be gained by adding longer shakles and replacing the rear springs with Hi-Lux ones from a wreakers, I had Hilux springs in my old fez and they worked well, you will have to re-bush them for the Diahatsu hangers tho.

failing that a 2" body lift is easy to do on these beasts ... again theres a wealth of information hiding in this forum on what you need to do.

oh and welcome to the wonderful world of diahatsu :D .. I really miss my little beastie... unfortuantly my dam kids outgrew the rear seat :x
cheers Meece

any make 4wd is harder on clutches than road cars .. and daihatsu's clutch is really no more than a Diahatsu Appluse one, not the strongest clutch in the world but "useable" in the sort of 4wd'ing the Feroza was designed for. as soon as ya add larger tyres/and or heavy right foot to the mix and your clutch isnt the best it will start to slip. one thing to watch is if you have been 4x4'ing in muddy water make sure you get the high pressure hose up into the inspection plate / clutch lever area and give it a good blast .. i have heard of issues of mud binding up the clutch linkages. :D
