GQ Springs

Post by HellfisH »

Hi all, I would like to know what people would rate as the best 4" spring for a GQ Shorty? I've had a couple of different types TJM and dobinsons, but was curious what other people's opinions are.

63 views and no one has a opinion on GQ springs "strange" you would think in a 4x4 Nissan forum someone would know something about springs.

I'll answer ya mate :D .

Dobinsons spring's are the best i've run, in a GQ, Cruiser, Rangie  .

I've had standard, Pedders, OME, Dobinson

Dobinson are easily the best value spring's around IMHO , next set i get are going to be 3.5" Flexi's

Give Shane from https://www.suspensionstuff.com.au/shop/ a ring or E-mail, awsome prices, and dos'nt mind answering silly questions

Not a real good question to answer as I haven't run different springs but my King springs have held up well over a few years. Have heard of some not siting flat all round and settlling uneven but mine has stood the test of time. If I upgrade I may look at the Dobinsons as they do a flexy coil, but my springs are still fine after 5-6years
