i have a 94 vit with 350000 km... i have just been puttin castrol gtx-cheap stuff in.. works fine.... never had a prob.... still goes fine.-dont worry about this crap magnatec n crap... just go cheap, but the trick to keep your motor good is to change oil every 5000 km regardless.. i go 4wding every weekend and give the motor hell and she is still happy...

i change my oil with synth 10w50 every 5000ks

if you go a real cheap oil do it every 2-3000

(i know factory is 8000 but you will notice that the oil will be cleaner with each change, this is good, if its starts coming out wthout any black then by all means spread out the intervals to 5000)

gearbox and diffa is 75w/80 or 75w90

engine - 20w50, 10w40 or penrite 15w60 is the good stuff

diffs/gearbox/transfer - castrol vmx 80 or penrite transaxle 75.

coolant use whatever just drain old stuff good, just keep note of what it is if u need to buy more to top up as u know u cant mix different coolants.

for the zuk i used 15w40 engine oil it seemed to do the job and tend to be well priced. also changed oil and filter every 5-6000kms or so...
