Hi all,
When I turn on the ignition the relay connects but no power goes to the plugs.
I checked and changed the under dash fuse, measured the out side of the relay and it was reading 12+V when on so I checked and there is continuity between the out side of the relay and the plugs.
One thing I noticed was that the Battery guage doesn't drop down like normal when the relay clicks on.
Any help appreciated, thanks.

60 Series glow circuit problem
Moderator: -Scott-
More than likely it's the glow plug timer gone kaput. You could chase around for another and it will likely fail (just like mine did). Easy fix if this is the problem.
All you need is a momentary switch and a length of decent wire and follow these instructions http://forum.ih8mud.com/diesel-tech-24- ... witch.html (A wilson switch is a momentary switch.)
You will find the glow plug timer relay behind the kick panel on the passenger side. Simply splice into (don't cut) the main feed into the timer, from memory it's the thickest red wire, allow yourself about 2 feet of wire (so you can place the switch wherever you want, I hid mine under the dash), connect to one side of the switch. For the other side of the switch run a wire directly to the battery. If you have done it right, simply push the switch and you should hear the relay kick and your warming your glow plugs. I count to 10, release the switch and she will start first kick.
If you need help, let me know.
