NZ National Winch Challange 2010

Post by nzdarin »

We now have 2 series happening in NZ, a north island and a south island series. Each of these series has 4 to 6 events and is being run with 2 classes, club and challenge class.
Later this year we are holding the first combined final with the best of both islands competing in a 3 day event. This one is being held in Taupo.
In 2010 it will be held in Marlborough and will be on Queens birthday weekend (start of June). So this will be cold, wet and generally not very pleasant! Just th perfect thing for a winch challenge.

So the question is, is there anyone in Oz who wants to come and teach a few kiwis how it is done? Or is the cold weather too much!!!!
If you're keen then PM me or email on darin.neeley@roostmortgages.co.nz

I would love to go back and see a NZ Winch Challenge! Was there for Kiwi Challenge in 2006 and it was wet, muddy and non-stop rain!

If you can keep us posted on dates, I understand you have one Queens Birthday weekend in 2010.

But let us know which is your biggest event and the dates for it.

You may be able to get some Aussies back for a challenge! Note to all Aussies wanting the challenge - you need a really good winch! The mud is thick and deep, nothing like we we have over here.
Bringing you regular updates at Outback Challenge this year!!!
