98 Grand Vitara

Post by tonys »

I'm currently tossing up between a 98 Grand Vitara jimny I've been looking at.

It has 204,000km on the clock, looks in immaculate condition, engine seems to run fine, will do a proper mechanical check on it tomorrow. Bloke wants $8000

I've been tossing up between this an a Jimny, but I'm not sure on the practicallity of the Grand Vitara as a 4WD I only seem to find negative feed back.

It would mainly be a drive around town car, with occasional fishing trips to the beach, and possibly a few shooting trips out west that require that the vehicle have some sort of clearance and 4WD capabilities

What do ya's recon?
