gu wagon / ute chassis differences

Post by micka1 »

Just wondering what the differences between a gu ute and wagon chassis would be ? obviously the wagon chassis cab mounts would be different , and the second tank is too .. anything else ?

Just interested whether a wagon cab cut down to a dual cab would fit onto a ute chassis or not ?

The only real difference is the body mounts and tray mounts.

Assuming both are coils sprung then yes they will fit with mods to the ute chassis.

With the ute you will need to remove the tray mounts ( first 3 from memory ) and make wagon mounts.

Other wise length and width are all the same.
