GU adjustable panhards

Post by MNBS 4x4 »

I am looking at buying a set of adjustable panhards for my'99 gu, the ones that i am getting a great price on are fitted with urethane bushes which i have heard mixed reports on, Do any aftermarket panhards come with the rubber bushes or would i be able to change them on these rods i am looking at buying
what are the opinions on the urethane bushes as i hear they flog out fairly quick. ( how much would nissan ones be and would they fit)

Hope this makes sense

cheers guys

Do you use super cheap tools?, if so poly will be fine because you can use the super cheap tools to remove them then throw them all in the bin when their all F**ked.
Genuine is the only way, we have had nearly every business try and flog their u-buet poly bushes to us and their all crap.

Some are okay on a standard setup only because of the limited travel but 2 inch and over forget them.

The other problem is some manufactures use their own specs on their poly bush size and some will not accept genuine bushes.

My opinion ,but we deal with it every day.

what brand panhards are you going to buy?

others may have replaced bushes in theres previously, and will tell you if they fit or not,

i have only ever used 1 set of poly bushes and they lasted a biut less than a year and ended up with shimmy probs, i went to genuine and never had a prob since, the genuine were in for about 6 years on a 6" lifted GQ,

ive run wizard panhards, i removed poly bushes and fitted genuine no probs,
i now run 3rds and highly recomend them, in patrol application they only use genuine bushes,
