firstly is it a factory turbo?, secondly why do you want to do it? and thrid what motor is it 3l or 5l? as it maters as to how much boost you can give it.
you will have to find out how much psi it currently has and then take it up.
I could tell you but since you dont know were it is it would be a job best done by a pro or someone that knows what they are doing.

it is a factory one it is on a 3l running at 12psi i think it is way to much for this motor i wanna turn it down i haven;t looked at it to see any thing on it as of yet i wanna set it about 8 to 9 psi 12 is to much i think

By factory do you mean CT20 off a surf 2LT. If so it will have either a bleed setup on the sense line for the wastgate actuator or the actuator may be spaced off the compressor housing with washers. If you remove the washers between the compressor and actuator the boost will drop.

Be aware though that if it has been tuned for that boost EGT's may rise with less boost.
