HELP!!!!!! How much does a disco's head cost?
A friend of a friend have broken down in coonabarabran in their 95 model tdi disco 2.4? They towed caravan from camperdown and broke down their. Local mechanic said cracked head. $5k-$7k.
Is that right or are they getting ripped off?
RACV will bring them back to camperdown, so any help would be great. They can sort it out when they get back
Cheers Daniel

Heh... there you go... Rover parts prices are always moving dramatically. Td5 turbos used to be between 600-700 18 months ago, 3 months ago they're up around 1200. Go figure, and who knows where they're at now.Loanrangie wrote:Heads have come down in price a lot, can pick them up for less than $1500 and a guy on ebay sells them for $1300. If they are overheated severely they will crack.
