hey guys i am looking at buying a gu patrol ute.
just wondering if there is anything wrong with buying a 4.2 diesel with an after market turbo on it???
i am looking at a 2000 model ute with a denso schwatzer turbo.
any info is most appreciated, thanks very much...

lol when i read Denso and turbo i had to come and have a look cause i dont really see them two as a good combination lol

I have a Denco set up on a TD42, No dramas in 5 years and still going as good as the day I had it put on, There's no noticable turbo lag. Oil cooled only, so no water lines to worry about which suits me. I can't fault mine at all.

same here.been on 2 yrs,added a 3" exh straight through.sounds sweet,goes well.

its is a good turbo upgrade. it is common to upgrade the factory turbo to get better performance
