hi im running an 80 series and im wanting to put a winch on ot it will get used alot know on me and i may comp the truck soon!!! whats better to run? a hi mount standard, himount with twin motor or higer poundage low mount? will the 8000 of the hi mount b enough? cheers

"using the truck for comps" does not tell anyone anything, i wouldnt use any of the above for winch comps, but thats my imo, do you plan on using 12v, 24, hydraulic, whats your budget, an 8000lb is not enough for an 80 series, etc etc etc.

You cannot expect a serious answer without atleast stating some basic stats...

what is your budget??
High mounts as Ruffy says are great..

Some are modded up to $15,000 or more for comps.
