leaky door seal?

my shorty keeps geting wet carpet in d/s footwell,
as far as i can see it must be door seal, is this a common thing? couldnt be a body mount or anything else?
is it as easy as getting new door seal?

Hi mate, Have had same prob with a previous 4wd. To fix i removed door seal, cut small slit in top part of seal and threaded a length of soft 8mm square rubber thru the inside all the way down both sides till they meet at bottom. Pays to do one door and re fit. If rubber is to thick or hard it will affect the door closing. This worked well but not full proof if i become stuck in deep water. It is painful job and took a couple of goes to find best sized rubber.

i tweaked the window frame in the door with my knee, hands and a little force.

I'll put my money on the windscreen surround. Sounds strange but mine was doing as you've said and even though I tried to seal the outside, the windscreen seal was nakered. Had it replaced now no more leaks!
My door seals are crap (can see light through the gap ) but it doesnt leak from there

This wont help if you drive in mud etc but just rain if thats when its leaking??

yea it does leek around the bottom corners, will have to go get a new seal
it does leak when its raining

Mine leaked into the d/s footwell also. found mine to be the door seal had flatened along the a piller. was allowing water in then it ran down the inside of the dash surrond and pooled around accel pedal. Cracked it and replaced all door seals. only cost about 80 bux. problem fixed.
