Probably a 'b' motor (normal for big 4cyl dynas). Didn't know of a 3.6L though, 14B is a 3.7L.
Post your pictures (of the motor) up and someone should be able to ID it pretty easy.
specs can be a pain to find (depending what you want to know), but they can be found. I cannot think of any reason to say they are not a good motor; they are old technology, but this does mean they are simple. They don't like to rev, they really are the stereotypical diesel.
Are you looking at the motor for a conversion into something? or buying the whole truck to use?

Wheeling on completely wicked angles, without even looking stable.
14B and 14B-T = 3660 CC so yes you could be correct in thinking it is 3.7
its stamped on the engine number 14B or 13B (above and left of the the injector pump) is the starting im trying to remember what my 13B engine has stamped on it. Rocker cover also has the engine on it 13B/14B etc.
Manufacturer Toyota
Displacement 3.7 L (3660 cc)
Cylinder bore 102.0 mm
Piston stroke 112.0 mm
Block alloy cast-iron
Head alloy cast-iron
Valvetrain OHV
Fuel type diesel
Compression ratio is 18:1. Output is 98 hp (72 kW) at 3400 rpm with 240 N·m of torque at 1800 rpm
Bore is same as 13B only (same block) the stroke and crank and piston changes
Its simple engine - so reliable - low revving oh yeah and very heavy.
What TOYOTA you wanna plug it into.
