hey there i have just the denco turbo kit on my 5L-e over here in perth wa. place called fremantle injection got the kit in was about $2700 came with full 2.5 inch exhaust. i pulled my fuel pump out and they played with the eprom(i think thats it) setting in the pumpfor more fuel. this kit runs really well and heaps of torque it is yet to go on dyno i very highly recommend this.

thanks

not sure about changing the fuel pump but i have a turbo glide kit which came off my older 2.8 motor, yes you need to put a dp type chip in there to adjust the fuel properly as i believe the computer won't run the boost properly.

have any of these companies told you exactly what size turbo to put on you lux? I've been looking around and asking a bit and seem to get any answers. If you know that would be alot of help thanks.

Also i was just talking to a guy in the shops who sell the dp and chips and there was another chip i'm sorry i forget the name it was 10 dollars more and basically it had a safety feature that if you motor was running to hot or the mixtures are wrong or something isn't right it automatically shuts the chip down and goes back to stock. where he claimed the dp chip won't do that it has no way of sensing those things.

again this was only what i was told

thanks

as for sensors just install a boost gauge and a EGT (pyrometer) gauge then you can keep an eye on the temps...

Mine is dyno'd at 74 rear wheel KW as opposed to the standard motor 40KW.

My turbo is a T25 garret turbo...

You can get the ball bearing version of the turbo which spools up quicker and sooner but it all depends on how much you want to spend...
