Post by Spartacus »

i no nothing on the subject so:

is it possible to rip our the rear springs of the rocky and put
gq coils/similar in their place. then put the rears on the front
i dont think it'll work unless i put big $$ into it.

or go 3/4 elliptic...

give me your thoughts, nohow :D

Right, I'm pretty stoopid too, but isn't your Rocky leaf sprung in the rear?

The leaves in my f75 are a miss match of other leaf packs and work well. coils will cost $$$$ if ya cant do most of it yaself and will need engineering to be road legal. I also got longer front spring hangers so i can run longer front leaves, also works well. If ya want pics, PM me cause i selling rocky soon.

anything is possible, it's just a matter of how much $$ you're prepared to throw at it. if you have no money, everything sudenly becomes not economically viable

Not being a prick or anything, but if you really feel you don't know a lot about your vehicle, it would probably be better to ask more basic questions.

So in this case, maybe if you let the gurus here know what it is you're trying to achieve, then we can throw some ideas at you for how to do it economically.

i agree it was my bad wording that started it.
i should have gone with the old fashion

which is better leaves or coils

just trying ot see if putting coils in the rear would be better
than going eliptic.

which reminds me i saw a website once that explaind all the
eliptic setups with diagrams from a link here at OL.
what was it

i farked it up baaaad

thanx for ur patience Lucas :evilbat:
