punch in the gearing details of a stock carby vitara if you can find them and it should give you the answer.

hi mate,
i got 1.6 efi vitara but it has 235,75 r15's
at 92kph on the speedo which is about 100kph it is about 2900rpm,

but with these tires the speedo is out by about 10% so 90 on the speedo is 100 and 100 on speedo is 110 ect.
does this make sense.
hope it helps

this car is a 1996 manual and has 187000k's

G16B-EFI
Power 71kW @ 5600rpm

Same tyres on mine, 1.6 efi and I sit on 3500@ 100 on the clock, which is probably closer to 110 in reality, same deal as Mitch
