transfer mounted handbrake question?

Post by hiluxmad »

would the disc brake caliper from a trailer set up be strong enough?
mounts etc will be fabricated to suit but would the clamping presure be enough?
vehicle is a dual cab lux 94 model
Keep it shiny side up!
Now doing general fab work and painting
trays, trailers, engine swaps on request, some tube work, silo section sliders, rust repairs, ute chops etc

i would say yes.
i used one from a go kart on my suzuki (mud4b was not small, actually it was bigger than most hilux's) with 37" tyres and it never let go. the thing you need to watch is if your rear diff is not locked and 1 wheel has bugger all weight on it, you will most likely loose your truck.

cheers mark.
