hope its not the one in you're sierra, it won't fit a rear vitara.

Nope. I was building a vitara, got the air locker installed and two weeks late I jumped on the sierra band wagon. i.e. wasted $1500.

As for Mods to the original question I would: 40mm OME lift, 2" body lift, Gearing, 30-31" tyres, rear locker.

That will make the vit near unstoppable.

Gidday mate. I have a 92 2dr vitara. The first thing I did from std. was a 50mm body lift and then 31inch muds. I had to do a little cutting and adjusting on guards etc to get a good fit. Then I added a 40mm old man emu suspension lift. these mods have made a lot of difference and it is a pretty capable truck. I have a rear ARB diff locker to go in any time soon. Any questions, feel free to ask. Pete

i have a combination of 3 inch calmini suspention lift and 3 inch body lift and 31" tyres. Still have the tyres rubbing heavily on the inside of the guards. So be prepared to for the chop if your looking for 31" tyres.

?? what are you doing wrong? i only have 2 inch springs, slightly chopped guards and i run 31's with no scrubbing. 32's scrub on full up travel

Im guessing its something to do with the extra flex of the suspention lift. Also running commodore shocks on the rear. Forgot to mention it only rubs on the rear, front is fine. check out atari's member thread for some pics of the suspention lift.

the rear does rub a little when completely flexed up, but its just the top of the inner guard... if i got a 2 inch body lift it would be fine

Whats the drama ...some slight body cutting is all that is required to fit 37"s and then a wee bit more for 40"s :finger: ......... :D

Jesus!!!! That thing is intense!!!

I'm running 32s with the Calmini 3" kit and a 2" BL. No scrubbing except on the n/s rear plastic inner liner thing on full flex. I don't think anything has been chopped out of it either (I bought it second hand with 31s and a 2.5" lift so I'm not sure..) It is unlocked and ungeared and recently at zig zag it embarrassed a few of the skyscrapers...
