when my troopy is empty its very hard riding i want to soften the ride someone suggested longer springs and extended shackles ....does anyone make a longer 2 inch lifted spring thats reasoaby soft whereby i can retain my current hangers and diff location and just bolt on the springs and shackles
Tough Dog do a 50mm lift in three configurations – light, medium and constant heavy load

Most 4x4 companies will have a bolt on kit for your troopy. And like the tough dog gear, most have have different load choices to choose from. I had ARB (OME) gear in my BJ42 for a while and it was ok. But you could choose from TJM, EFS and a thousand other brands as well. Just see if they have load ratings available.
You could also just remove a leaf or two and see if that softens the ride.
Longer shackles wouldn't improve the ride, just lift it slightly.
