4.2 upgrades

Post by wrksux »

well ive put it off long enough, looking to get a 3" Exhaust, boost fiddle and dyno tune. what sort of numbers am I looking at as an increase over stock,

its a 2003 4.2l GU intercooled TD42 wagon, im looking at Exhaust systems at the moment, should I go big name like Beaudesert or just my local exhaust shop?

anyone recomend a few diesel mobs to get this done at?

Cheers
Tim
It's simple: questions are inherently good. Your questions... not so much

Exhaust, boost and Tune should see you get round 90-100kw at wheels. It will be a much nicer unit to drive..

it goes up from there, to different turbo, you can go 130kw, then up again 160kw..

Where in Melb are you?? Andy at Dieseltec is great..

Mines a DTS kit @ 10psi, full 3" exhaust w/sports muffler. Was 100kw RW when the pump was rebuilt on 35's and 4.1's. She's no rocket ship but lugs around reliably with a bit more poke than std.
