just put a 5 litre holden motor in got all going went to back the car out of shed to test drive it and i got no drive at all. Just wondering if anyone knows where to start looking? wether it be in the electrics or in the fluid or somewhere totally different any ideas or help will be greatly appreciated.

is the torque converter sitting in the transmssion properly? did you make sure it was seated correctly,
is the transmission doing anything at all?
is there POWER going to the transmission? ie all the electrical connections?
something you have done is wrong, you need to troubleshoot it.
