I'm trying to wire up a LED switch to control my driving lights.
I can wire it up like a normal switch but when I try to power the in-built LED as well then it doesn't work.
The switch is one of these:
The pins are 12V, load, earth. My lights are neg switch so when I connect the tapped high-beam wire to "12V", relay to the "load" - driving lights work. When I then connect up the "earth" to the neg of the battery the LED doesn't light up.
I've also tried 12V to "12V", highbeam to "load", relay to "earth" and battery to "earth" as well.
Also tried highbeam to "12V" and relay to "earth".
Still no joy. Which part am I doing wrong?
Any ideas?

Wiring up LED switch
Moderator: -Scott-
It all depends on how you have the relay wired.
When I had my zuk, I had the relays earth through the factory loom high beam. This will work for your situation, but to get the led to work, you will need to run power to the positive on the switch and back to the switch pin on the relay.
The relay is not earthed unless high beam is on, and spotties wont come on unless the switch is on and high beam on. Still have to earth the switch for the led to work.
Good luck.
