RUF and IFS rears in a 4runner

hey all,
i have an '84 4runner with 2inch lifted springs, big extended shackles and 2 inch bodylift with 35s.
I want a softer ride and more flex out of it.
So was thinking of putting my 2inch lifted rears from my back in the front and removing a load leaf. And getting 2inch lifted IFS rears and taking a load leaf out and putting them in the back.
Will this change the height of my car?? As the front just touches the guard at full lock, full compression on the front.
Cheers
Dan

My RUF lifted the front about an inch or so, but that is with the 2" dropped crossmember.

You will want to take out more than just the load leaf it would be a bit too rough otherwise. Just mix and match with the fronts toy have now with the first 3 from the rears.

get two sets of rear leaf springs and use the top 3 leafs from both to make one pack...6 leafs all up... flex's awesome and rides a hell of a lot better than standard

Hi mate,

Sounds like you'll have a pretty similar setup to me if you do that.

All i done was moved rears up front with diff relocator plates to move the diff back a bit again (but should also get longer shocks) then IFS rears with only the small load leaf, 2'' lift blocks and inverted rears and moved shackle mounts back a bit.

Biggest problem generally is getting the height in the back again. But id recommend doing that also i only used the two top leaves for rears up front and for IFS rears the rest of the packs the same as it was, but its trial and error with leaf packs.

Cheers
