PUT UP OR SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by POS »

OK enough tuff talk, its time to PUT UP OR SHUT UP!!!!!

The name of the COMP will be PUT UP OR SHUT UP, so now is the time to back up what u have been saying and PUT UP. Or SHUT UP

The comp will be held at ROVER PARK Nsw!

The date will be set in the next week! (will be sometime at the end of July, so start building!!!)

It will be the hardest and most EXTREME ROCK CRAWLING COMP ever held!!!!!

NO show and shine, no Ramp queen, no mud just out and out pure DRIVING!

The rules are simple and based on the american format!

The entry fee from each competitor will be colected and used as prize money. (all money colected will go straight back to the competitors) Entry fee will also be decided within the next week!

There is one class. Buggy's, Zuk's anything and everything get in there and tuff it out!!!!

Spectators will be well looked after!!!

There will be a PA system that will tell you about each team, their Rig and how they like to wheel  , they will also be explaining the scoring and the format of the comp!!!

There will also be a large whiteboard that will be updated with each teams score straight after their RUN!!!

This is not limited to just people of the site! If you know of anyone that is keen let them know about this! If they like to talk about how Good they are then NOW IS THE TIME TO PROVE IT!!!!!!!!

Like i said there will be more info posted within the next week, so keep checking in!

SO who out there is ready to PUT UP OR SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cant answer all your questions but i will try as best i can, These are not defianate yet,

Club affiliation ? Not at all.

Insurance ? Wont be a prob.

Rego ? Only if you want to.

Engineers ? No but dont bring something that will just fall apart. Its your Money your putting up.

Safety ? I beleive Helmets (driver and spotter) window nets or arm restraints will be compulsory.

Dates and entry fees would be cool aswell  We should have an answer for this after the weekend.

Remember this is not an Outerlimits event. Rover Park are hosting this event with a little help from some of the members of Outerlimits4x4.com.

Again as i said above i cant answer these defianatly.

can the truck run twice (Tracey and myself )-- As long as your willing to pay the entry fee for each driver you can enter the one vehicle as many times as you like.

how much to enter-- Should be able to answer this early next week.

where is this park-- 30min east of Tenterfield.

is there male and female classes-- If there is enough interest from females then we will seriously consider this.

Why would women be in a different class??

The way I see its a run what you brung event. What ever spec you want to run you compete against everybody else. One class only to determine one winner.

I think there needs to be certain specific requirements if a rig is going to be allowed to compete more than once. I personally dont think a rig should be allowed to enter more than once, it would be too much of an advantage. I dont want to see the Mogrover lapped around 5 times and take the first 5 placings. I know that this isnt going to happen but whats the point of letting a rig run with more than one driver?? Pick your best driver and enter. I would hope that this event isnt going to struggle to get sufficient entry numbers - I thnk that too many entrants would be more of a concern.

Without trying to be offensive, I endorse what Strange Rover has said......By the sounds of it, this is an clean cut, no holes bared contest. There are no handicaps or special consideration given. Everyone on the one level playing field and let the best driver, spotter and vehicle combination win.

Can't wait

i think that the same truck should be allowed to enter twice, once with a male driver and once with a female.

maybe it could be a seperate class with combined points. I know you only want one class but im just tossing around ideas.

how about the rig can go twice but the driver AND spotter have to be different....no advantage then !
