02 td42T into 98 td28T gu series 1 wagon

i need the wiring diagram for a gu td28 the main ecu harness or at least the wiring for the crank sensor out of the ecu as i have put a td42T in its place and am wishing to use the tacho in dash as it runs from the crank sensor on the td28.

also any assistance from some one who has done this conversion before

ummm , what is a TD28? do you mean RD28? in wich case they dont have a crank sensor...
Beep. Beep. Beep.. Whats that sound? Oh Look Its Just Another ZD30 On A Tow Truck.. =)

What torque? Tighten it till it strips and then back it off half a turn.

The tacho runs of the injection pump on that model, you need to rewire it. PM me and I will tell you how I wired up my tacho when doing the same conversion.

ok do you know what wires from the computer runs to the dash to make the tacho, temp, oil pressure work ? so as we can tap in to them with out having to pull the dash apart ?
