I'm headed up from Rocky on this coming Saturday to check out some of this wild offroad racing!
Should be a wild one with 250K's of action! That's going to be grueling on competitors and hopefully there will be some real top class rigs testing there mettle...
Unfortunately most of the cars that would be competitive in CQ are headed south to the Coopers Round at LCMP...
is anyone headed up (or down) for this event?
Should be interesting to see who lasts the distance!!

Yep that is my understanding of it.
I got an email from the event organiser the other day about how to get there so I'll post the directions up here...
I would have thought there were a few rigs up Mackay that would have done well in Class 8... and it would be great training for the high speed driving of events like OBC and Cliffhanger...
If this event is a real eye opener for me I'm thinking of going for a look at the big boys playing at Goondawindi later this year too... it's a round of the AORC so that means that all the trophy trucks, class 1's and top running 4Bs will be there....
Actually reading that I might just plan on going!!! Seeing Gallards truck in the flesh will be WORTH the fuel money!

Hey guys.
What a blast!!!!
We had a great weekend watching the action and chatting to competitors.
All these guys are really relaxed and happy have a chat.
There's guys from all walks of life with all sorts of race cars.
Everything from Kadco Class 1s to a hilux in class 7!
It was a great range of rigs...... but there's a big opening for Class 8 rigs!
Congrats must go to all the competitors and a big pat on the back to all the event organisers!
It was great fun and we'll be back to enjoy it all again!!!!
