HAven't been able to put an update on this due to no internet, but Dave and I are on our way from Vegas to the start line to begin this epic race.

The car is soooo awesome.

Yeah after speakn with Benny (Highroller) he read somewhere on Pirate that they had Vapour Lock issues / fuel issues ... that put them off course early on . :cry:

Just need to make sure they have better days tomoz and the next ;)

Hey guys, we are about to start day 2.

Day 1 was a bitch. Started off so well. we were fast. passed most of the other ultra 4s, and a heap of desert race cars - they were pissed!
The only car that passed us at all was Dave Cole's thing.

Then we had vapour lock issues. It was just so hot out there, the fuel was boiling as it came out of the tank.
We have moved some things around and added a heap of heat shield, so hopefully that works.

Randy is driving the first bit, so hopefully I will get to get in at pit 4

top effort today boys watched all day too ...did dustin shout you that beer...what happened at the end today.. why did you guys pull up... something was said about your lights not working...and did 4488 give a hand..man that was some close racing from what we could tell...looked like u were neck n neck the whole way...give em hell

Congratulations Ben was watching you all day it was awesome matey, I think you may of been the fastest too with that time i think 4488 was doin about 80mph at the same place you were doin 90mph hell yeh your smashing bud.

I believe they qualified for KOH!!!! and i heard ben ran into the back of 4488 and took out there spare tire.. jack and tool kit .. while trying too pass in a log jam of cars going three wide...good hard racing it sounds like....
