Aircon blower power problem

Post by GQboy »

My air con blolwer only works on number 4, 1 through to 3 get nothing. I have checked the switch and motor and they are ok. Is there a relay of some sort hiding in there some where?

fan speed resistor? , number 4 is full 12 volts as 1 to 3 is resisted to give less voltage and therefore lesser speeds... make scence?
Beep. Beep. Beep.. Whats that sound? Oh Look Its Just Another ZD30 On A Tow Truck.. =)

What torque? Tighten it till it strips and then back it off half a turn.

i am quite sure the resistor is down near the blower motor on the passanger side footwell lay on ur back and look up under the dash you should see a big long rectangle plug with 4 wires going into it... the thing that plugs into is retained by 2 screws i belive and this is it , when you pull it out it will look like a big printed circuit about the size of a playing card.... does this help much?
