steering dampeners

Post by stock 4runner »

tried serching quickly but didnt found what i wanted .
i got a choice between a h/d steering dampener a rtc dampener or a adjustable one considering i run 34 jt2s with 5 inch spacers off road whats the best. how stiff is a rtc compared to a h/d and can an adjustable be set to stiffer then a h/d.

If the rtc is a tuff dog, I would steer clear . I got about 1000ks out of one on my dodge ramcharger 6''lift,36s before it leaked.
My mate had the coil on his tuff dog dampener shatter after a couple thousand ks!.
I'd go the h/d dampener.
