300tdi turbo conversion

hey guys dose anyone know if the 200 and 300 tdi exhaust manifolds are interchangeable i realize 200 is a top mount turbo but i was thinking i could use a 200 manifold on my 300 and use a different turbo im also asuming the 200 manifold has a t2 flang

has anyone done this before any help would be great

search on Aulro, this has been done, pretty sure it was to run a VNT turbo

A 200Tdi manifold will fit onto a 300Tdi.

Defender and Disco 200Tdi's have the turbo in different positions. IIRC defender has the high mounted turbo.

When the 300Tdi was introduced, there were no differences between defender and disco.

Incidentally Bruce Davis does a Nice Turbo conversion for 300tdi where he uses a 200tdi zost manifold , apparently the 200tdi zost manifold flows a lot better than 300tdi , with Pump Mod, his disco goes like a Cut snake

thanks guys ill let you know how i go and i was just wondering how much these motors can handle like what sort of boost and fuel volume are you guys putting up them and are there any problems that can arise obviously egt's but any other info would be great thanks
