Converting GQ to power windows... problems with wiring?

Post by Screwy »

Gday guys,

Bought a Power window kit for my Shorty....

It came with 2 complete trims with switches
2 x regulators that look like that slide on the manual winder spline and a power window amp unit like a long relay thing wigh a plug on the end.

I didnt recieve any wiring looms....

my question is, is the complete power window loom existing in all Gqs? or is there only a plug under the dash for an auxillery power window loom that i need as well?

Thanks in advance

Screwy

Guys,

anyone have any info on this?

Ive stripped my door trims and look under my dash. I have no wiring for power windows at all....

I do however have a fat black plug with a plastic sleeve on it hanging above my fuse box area that looks like something plugs into it...

Wondering if anyone has power windows on there patrol that could follow the loom out of the door and check to see under the dash if it plugs into a socket or is hardwired into the main loom as part of it....

shouldnt have to take anything apart...

as at the moment i cant use this kit and short of ringing nissan and asking them for a wiring loom ( which may be tomorrows job ) im out of options.........

cheers
