Hi Folks, I’m in the process of trying to establish if the many articles stating that alternators will not charge a cranking battery above 70% SoC are accurate or no more than scare mongering.
Over 20 years of working with dual battery set ups, I have found very few vehicle cranking batteries that are under 90% SoC.
I’m running a poll in the Auto Electric section and would appreciate any input from forum members.
Just click on the link and you will be taken to the thread.
Cheers.
