60 and 80 series diff centres

Post by Chucky »

Working out some sums for a fairly major job that I want to do in the future.
Part of it is, are 60 series and 80 series diff's interchangable, and failing that, can you pull the airlockers out of a 60 centre and put them into a 80?

Thanks for the help.

80 series front and hilux front only share the same size diff, hilux are revese cut they have there back diff turned around, 80 series high pinion front diff is designed and teeth cut to be going forward

and 85-89 7x series front and back are same as 60 front and back and 80 rear, 90-sept99 7x series rear fit 60 front and back and 80 rear
