td42 to td42t question
I am am about to purchase a td42 non turbo and i will be rebuilding it i want to know to rebuild it as a td42t what do i have to change example can i buy a td42t rebuild kit and fit it to a standard td42 i have heard the con rods are different but if i get td42t rods will everything else be ok to use if i put a heavy duty clutch will that withstand the power and will the standard radiator be ok is the head ok to use and is there any mods that can be done to head to increase power . Are the bore sizes and big end journals the same.And what sort of turbo kit would be recomended.Also if conrods do need to be changed does anyone know where i could grab a set cheap other than nissan.When conversion takes place and rebuild starts i will post some pics
