gday guys just got our donor deisel dualcab ln46 1982. it will be some time to strip out alkl the diesel gear ie diffs gearbox engine etc etc etc, the current ute yn65 we want to get it on road for son (all his project 14 year old lol) i dont want to have to redo the diffs etc on the yn65 and then have to do the diesel diffs, what are the differneces between the 2 models please, do we need to change whole diffs or just centres pls many thanks on the first of probably many questions lol

i think the only difference is that the yn65 diffs will have more bracing and different ratios than the ln46 diffs

Yeah the gen 1 hasnt got as long a gusset on the underneath of the diff.
