60 series soa

Post by rammer60 »

ok so i know there may have been a similar question asked in the past, but cant find any info anywhere, so, am looking at goin spring over axle on my 60 series. its already chopped into a ute, so this is kinda the next logical step. just wondering has anyone done it and found they had drama's with the front tail shaft fouling on the gearbox crossmember.
ive already done a spring reversal on the front, moved the diff forwards significantly in the process, and found that on full droop this problem is occurring already, so had to modify the crossmember. but once i go soa, i dont think ill be able to make it all work, due to the height ill gain.
anyone got any ideas? different crossmember out there that i can use??
appreciate any help, cheers

Cut and turn the knuckles so your pumpkin turns up facing the t/case, and get a double cardinal joint.
